Sculptor Viacheslav Ahlotkov is a native of Luhansk, a volunteer, and an artist whose work is inextricably linked with the experience of war, forced displacement, and the loss of his home. In 2014, Viacheslav, along with his wife Svitlana, left their native Luhansk. Today, the couple is actively involved in volunteer work and supports those affected by the war. This life choice logically continues in the artist's work, which does not separate aesthetics from civic position. His metal sculptures are a sincere internal dialogue with the country, a kind of prayer for Ukrainian defenders, and a belief in Victory. Each work embodies dignity, pain, and strength.
