Aneroid barometer. Renovation in the style of industrial art design. Original, late XIX - early XX century, Kharkiv.

Associated with the workshop of Theodor Witt (Th. Witt – Charkow), a well-known supplier of scientific instruments of that time.

The presented product is a combination of a historical mechanism and modern artistic design. The original barometer is preserved and integrated into a new decorative composition.

The modern addition is made in an industrial (steampunk) design, using decorative elements that imitate mechanical and technical structures. Such a combination creates a unique art object that combines historical value with modern aesthetics.

Execution technique: restoration and conservation of the original barometric mechanism with observance of its structural features; manual creation of a decorative composition using techniques of artistic modeling, assembly, and stylization under industrial aesthetics.

Patination, toning, and decorative aging of surfaces were applied to achieve a holistic artistic image.

All additional elements are integrated manually, considering the compositional balance and style of the product. The original mechanism is preserved.

This item is an authentic barometer from the late XIX - early XX century, which has undergone artistic renovation and additions.

The product is unique, combining historical, collectible, and artistic value. Reproduction of an identical object is impossible.
