Sculptor Viacheslav Aglotkov is a native of Luhansk, a volunteer and artist whose work is inextricably linked with the experience of war, forced displacement, and loss of his homeland. In 2014, Viacheslav, together with his wife Svitlana, left his native Luhansk. Today, the couple is actively involved in volunteering and supporting those affected by the war. This life choice logically continues in the artist's work, which does not separate aesthetics from civic position. His metal sculptures are a sincere internal dialogue with the country, a kind of prayer for Ukrainian defenders, and a belief in Victory. Each work embodies dignity, pain, and strength.
